We work tirelessly to improve the socio-economic and political status of poor, marginalized and vulnerable women in Ghana.

This enables them get into gainful employment; attain and play leadership roles in society as well as make them aware of their rights  through training and advocacy with the ultimate vision of a society in which men and women are accorded equal rights, equal responsibilities and equal opportunities for sustainable development.

WHO WE ARE

Network of Women In Growth (NEWIG) Ghana is a non-profit, skills-development organization that provides vocational and entrepreneurial training, supporting over 8,000 women and children including marginalized, rural women across Ghana.

GENDER/WOMEN’S RIGHTS

Our Entrepreneurial Development Programs cover components of entrepreneurship including business skills, technical skills, life skills, mentorship, access to tools and materials.

NEWIG FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH

We help children and youth in rural communities to develop into strong and successful adults when they are at their most crucial developmental phase of life.

D’SHE WOMEN IN PROFESSIONAL DRIVING

Technical trainings in driving for young women to become professional and commercial chauffeurs and alter public perceptions about women’s participation in the booming public and private transportation sector.

ENTREPRENEURIAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

We organize programs, seminars and workshops on Gender Trainings, Anti-witchcraft campaign, Advocacy, Domestic Violence, Human & Child trafficking/reintegration, Gender & HIV/AIDS.
